Classic Holiday Style

I went to a fabulous holiday party over the weekend hosted by Prince Scipione Borghese and his team at Italian Bath and Body. "Holiday Attire" was the dress code of choice and ladies and gentlemen chose to wear everything from sequins to denim.

So how should we interpret the style guidelines written on all of our party invitations?

I say, reach for THE CLASSICS. A little black dress will never fail you in an "after 5" party affair. In fact, in the "year of the dress" the LBD has never been more popular!

If dresses aren't your style, don't shy away from denim; just reach for a pair that's darker and dressier in style. Many jeans are now made of a cotton/poly blend with fabrications resembling a dress pant. You can couple this casual bottom with a sequined top or dressy blazer and stilletto heels. You'll be comfortable and stylish!!

Whatever you wear--- don't compare. Style is your own form of self expression. While some party-goers may be sporting cocktail dresses and others are wearing skinny jeans, once you arrive at the event put your fashion stress aside and enjoy the night!!!

A good time was had by all at the IBB party. Lots of dancing and great food made the night among friends a wonderful success!!!
